You probably take more clothes on holiday than a Ukrainian mum takes when she and the kids race for the train … and the weather on your holiday is far more hospitable!! So we are specifically collecting things to help them through the cold weather. Winter clothes for babies, men, women and children. Coats are especially wanted (if you don’t have any to donate, why not raid the charity shops?). Easy open tins of food, energy bars and cuppa-soups are fabulous items to send. And warm blankets of every size are very gratefully received.
If you can help, please limit your donations to those items because border restrictions make carrying mixed loads quite difficult. We will be aiding our friends in Ukraine for months to come, whatever happens short-term, so we may come back later with requests for other specific items.
Every item you donate will go from here directly to a collection hub and then onwards to Ukraine.
Feel free to drop off your donations whenever you see the church open. That will always be at the following times but there will also be occasions when someone is in the building and able to take your donation.
Tuesday (1:00 – 3:00); Wednesday (9:15 – 12:00); Friday (9:30 – 11:30); Sunday (9:30 – 12:00 & 3:30 – 6:00)
Thank you for standing with us.
