To celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, we are holding two special events:
Sunday 29 May at 4:00 pm Songs of Praise
We are turning our usual afternoon service into a song-fest. We will be singing as many of the favourite hymns of the last 70 years as we can!! In between, we’ll consider the meaning of some of those hymns – how they link to our Queen and to the Christian faith. And, afterwards, there will be a plentiful supply of that traditional British afternoon drink … tea! perhaps even a little cake as well. If you have a favourite hymn that you’d like us to include, then do get in touch and we’ll do our best to include it for you.
Thursday 2 June at 10:00 am Family Craft Morning … craft, refreshments, bible story. BOOKING ESSENTIAL
For primary aged children and their parents/carers … a morning of creative activity. There will be a choice of 5 or 6 different crafts which can all be taken home plus a cold drink for children and a hot drink for adults. Older siblings can come but they need to be warned that we are catering for younger ones.
For safety reasons and to make certain that we have enough resources, places MUST be booked in advance. Tickets are £1 per child (including any older siblings who may join us); adults are free. Book at our online shop.
