Although churches across the nation are closed, people’s spiritual and welfare needs still need to be met. So how are we doing that at CPC?
First, we are praying regularly for our nation and our community in Beighton. We are doing that as individuals at home but we are also praying as a church using online meeting software. If you would like us to pray for you or somebody you know, do please get in touch. Just use our contacts page and add Prayer in the subject line of your message.
Secondly, we are still meeting together every Sunday. You can join us, as each week either at our building or online.
Thirdly, we recognise that national crises cause people to question a number of things – both ethical and spiritual. So we are thinking about the links between our present situation and God. We are doing that by posting a series of thought provoking videos – just 4 or 5 minutes long. We hope they will raise questions for you to consider …. and we’d be delighted to help you think things through if you want. Again, just contact us via our contacts page and add Question in the subject line of your message.
Finally, along with many others, we are offering our services to assist those in practical need. Working with other local partners, we will try to put people together – those who need help and those who want to help. You know the drill by now! To volunteer to help locally or to ask for help, use our contacts page and add Help in the subject line of your message.
We hope and pray that this page will not be required for much longer but we will post updates, as the situation develops.
